Deleting Borders
Finally we can show you the first results of our new project Deleting Borders.
We are exploring the borders between art disciplines, between artists and the audience, between online and offline.
To start with, we want to give you the opportunity to co-create with us. If you go to deletingborders.com you can hear a new song and you can make your own personal version by putting dots on our sequencer, creating a unique pattern of sounds, and a beautiful colour pattern based on your own picture.

Working on the soundtrack of 'In Jouw Naam'
The last couple of months we got some interesting soundtrack projects to work on.
We made music for the series 1 op 10 which will be broadcasted on Een (Flemish TV) in Spring 2013. Currently we are working on the soundtrack of the Dutch movie 'In Jouw Naam' (In Your Name), by director Marco Van Geffen.
Recently we visited the film set. In the first picture below you can see director Marco Van Geffen looking at the monitor, while Barry Atsma, one of the main actors, is performing. We are really looking forward to the end result of this project...
Sonar, the lyrics contest winner
A new song, the result of the lyrics contest in collaboration with Boek.be, Red Bull and Creatief Schrijven. The beatiful, poetic lyrics were written by contest winner Reinout Verbeke.
When you buy this song, the profit will be transferred to an organization which supports musical experiences for deaf people. We want to make deaf people 'feel the music'.

Amatorski & Crammed join forces
We are delighted to join forces with Crammed Discs, the boundary-breaking label which, from its Brussels base, has been putting out a broad spectrum of music for the last 3 decades, and has nurtured the international careers of artists such as Konono N°1, Cibelle, Tuxedomoon, Megafaun, Bebel Gilberto, Congotronics, Carl Craig, Staff Benda Bilili, SKIP&DIE and many more.
We are now working together with Crammed on the international release of the 'tbc' album and 'Same Stars We Shared' EP, which will come out as a special double-pack edition in early February 2013. We will be touring around Western Europe in February to promote the release, and will embark on a longer Spring/Summer tour from May on.

Tiny Bird: new song on 'Te Gek?! 5'
We are proud to present you this new song, 'Tiny Bird', which appeared on the compilation album 'Te Gek!? 5', with entries from many great Belgian artists, such as Marble Sounds, Senne Guns, Isolde Lasoen, Marcel Vanthilt, De Mens, Gorki, Arno, Pieter Embrechts, Willem Vermandere, Geike, Eefje De Visser (ok, she's Dutch) and Kapitein Winokio.
The compilation wants to bring attention to the issue of psychiatric health.

de vrijwilligers af de dijk van Harlingen zien skaten die daarnet nog je instrumenten aan het overladen waren in de officiële transportbus, omdat alleen die op de veerboot mag
onder de hete zon een duinheuvel op wandelen en plots uit het niets een podium zien opduiken, waar je even later op staat, met een zee mensen voor je, tegen de duinrug geplakt
met al wat biertjes op aan een groepje meisjes de weg naar de kunstroute vragen en uiteindelijk uitweiden over de verschillende betekenissen van 'poepen' in het Vlaamse en Nederlandse gedeelte van ons taalgebied

Lyrics contest for 'De Boekenbeurs'

We just finished a demo song and you can write the lyrics for the track (in Dutch!).

Na een succesvolle eerste editie met Mintzkov als centrale gast in 2011, slaan de Boekenbeurs en Red Bull, in samenwerking met Creatief Schrijven, opnieuw de handen in mekaar voor een zoektocht naar jong muzikaal schrijftalent. Schuilt er in jou een songwriter, tekstarchitect of poëet? Dan lever jij misschien de mooiste Nederlandstalige songtekst voor een gloednieuw nummer dat Amatorski eind dit jaar zal opnemen én officieel zal uitbrengen.
De winnende songtekst wordt op donderdagavond 8 november door Amatorski bekend gemaakt én gezongen tijdens een exclusieve set op de Boekenbeursnocturne. Maar er is meer: de songtekst van de winnaar wordt gelijk opgenomen én officieel uitgebracht!
